NPU-Y Committees
The NPU-Y board consists of voluntary residents, uniting the community through open communication and participation amongst all neighbors and local businesses. The purpose of the NPU-Y is to collectively address issues of common concern to all residents, property owners, and business owners of the NPU-Y community; providing the means to discuss and bring solutions to such issues.
NPU-Y holds the following Sub-Committees:
Zoning, Land Use and Code Enforcement
This committee considers all matters of land use, zoning, housing, urban design, and code enforcement and shall make recommendations to NPU-Y concerning these areas.
Meeting: Last Wednesday of each Month at 7pm.

Transportation/Public Works
This committee considers all matters concerning transportation including mass transit, streets, highways, parking, bicycles and pedestrians and public services, including water, lighting, sanitation, debris removal, and related municipal services.

Public Safety
This committee considers all matters concerning police, fire, ambulance, and animal control
Chairperson: Gloria Hawkins-Wynn
Parks, BeltLine and Environment
This committee considers all matters concerning parks, the Atlanta Beltine, open spaces, and recreation, and the environment.
Chairperson: Dr. Rebecca Robinson
Education
This committee shall coordinate with school, community and parent organizations on issues pertaining to schools within NPU-Y.

Communications
Chaired by the Assistant Secretary for Membership and Communications, this committee will assist with maintaining and administering NPU communication platforms (email lists, websites, social media, etc.) in accordance with NPU communication guidelines established by the City of Atlanta.

This committee considers all matters to the NPU-Y Bylaws.

The Atlanta Planning Advisory Board (APAB)
The Atlanta Planning Advisory Board (APAB) is a representative Board of citizens made up of every Neighborhood Planning Unit of Atlanta.
Meeting: Third Saturday of each month at 10:00am.

Special Projects Ad Hoc Committee
Manages community projects and Community Impact Grant.
